DSM-48LAN and DSM-26LAN
are professional digital speaker management systems of high power capability with state-of-the-art DSP processors and digital converters.
These systems combine active crossover network, parametric equalizer, delay, RMS compressor and peak limiter in one unit. Thus, they are powerful tools in order to control every important feature necessary for a perfect speaker management in PA applications or for developing active speaker systems.
Features and settings can be adjusted individually for each input and output channel. This is easily done directly at the unit or via the intuitive graphic user interface which can be accessed via PC, MAC or iPad. The connection is established via USB, LAN or WLAN (connection to a router is required). The DSP software is compatible with the MEGA-DSP, DSM-26LAN, DSM-48LAN and STA-1000DSP.
Digital speaker management system
  • 2 analogue inputs and 6 analogue outputs (XLR, balanced)
  • 1 x AES/EBU digital input, stereo
  • 64-bit DSP, sampling rate: 96 kHz
  • Dynamic range: > 118 dB
  • Latency: 0.64 ms
  • Routing fader for user-defined routing of the inputs to the outputs
  • Graphic user interface, PC editing software (units will be identified automatically)
  • 80 user presets can be stored
  • Remote control via USB or TCP/IP LAN
  • Dot matrix display with 2 x 16 characters
  • VU meter with 4 LEDs for each channel, level display and peak
  • 482 mm (19") rack installation, 1 RS
Input (data for each channel)
  • Gain control: -48 dB to +12 dB
  • 10 parametric equalizers with 8 types of filters each
  • 2 crossover networks with Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley and Bessel filters as well as individually adjustable types of filters from 6 to 24 dB/oct.
  • Delay can be switched between time (ms) and distance (m): 1,000 ms max. in steps of 10 µsec or 343 m max. in steps of 3.4 mm
  • Limiter threshold: from -48 dBu to +24 dBu
  • Compressor release time: 10 dB/s to 100 dB/s
  • Mute
Output (data for each channel)

“For general indoor PA applications and smaller function rooms, the use of one DSM-26LAN may already be sufficient. However, it is also possible to combine several DSM-48LAN devices to create large-scale PA concepts. You can greatly benefit from an easy operation and with a well-structured control, it is almost intuitively to use. Thanks to the iOS app, it is also possible to optimise the sound directly in the audience area during your soundcheck. The features meet all expectations and more which has previously only been possible by far more expensive controllers.”
Please note:
32-bit applications, including the current version of the DSP controller, are no longer supported under the MacOS version 10.15 (Catalina). The controller software is currently being updated for 64-bit MacOS Catalina. Users of older MacOS versions as well as Windows users are not affected by this change.
Apples announcement will give you further information on the change to 64-bit technology.
